While inkjet printers are known for their low purchase cost, they are also the most expensive to operate. In a typical business application, the cost to operate an inkjet will be 5 to 10 times higher than that of any other printer. Add to this that the typical inkjet is not designed for the higher volumes and constant use seen in an office, maintenance is a real issue. We strongly urge our clients to consider carefully the selection of an inkjet printer. When an inkjet is called for, we always direct them to the higher grade inkjets and multifunction units.
